Tip#4: Wool is much warmer than cotton, which does not insulate. So work with cotton or other plant fibers on hot days to cool down!

Why do yarn labels ask you to wash wool or cotton with vinegar/salt the first time?

This fixes the color to the fiber. If you don't want the color to run or fade you should follow the manufacturer's instructions. Always rinse until the water runs clear.
