Spring/Summer sweaters need to fit well. So you must ask yourself, "Am I reading this pattern s

One of the most confusing things that people see in a pattern has to do with sizing. Let's face it no one wants a sweater that doesn't fit. One little trick we always use is to look and see if the pattern specifies bust/waist size or finished size in their measurements. If it says it fits a bust/waist size of 40" for example then you are to measure yourself and use that exact measurement to select a size. If on the other hand it says the finished size is 38" then you measure yourself and add 2-4 inches. Most garments are made with 2-4inches of positive ease allowing you to move around freely. If the pattern specifies that it is made with negative ease you would subtract the amount of negative ease from your actual measurements.
